Overview

Hard Shell Lying Hyperbaric Chamber

OxyRevo Quest36 1.5 to 2.0 ATA Hard Hyperbaric Chamber

Think of the Quest36 as a roomier Quest30. It shares the same 89-inch stainless steel cylinder and the same 2.0 ATA pressure ceiling, but the barrel grows by six inches: 36 inches of interior diameter versus the Quest30's 30. That extra width is the entire point of this model. It gives a broad-shouldered adult space to lie flat without a shoulder pressed to the wall, and it lets any user turn onto their side midway through a 90-minute session and stay there.

The added girth brings 66 lbs of extra steel: the Quest36 comes in at 573 lbs / 260 kg, compared with 507 lbs for the Quest30, and it rolls on wheels. Its stainless steel shell carries large double-layered Bayer polycarbonate windows at both the head and foot ends, and a control panel and display screen are mounted inside as well as outside. Choose between two pressure versions at checkout, 1.5 ATA (adjustable from 1.2) or 2.0 ATA (adjustable from 1.4), and two colors, black or white.

The Build

Built For A Wider Barrel

A 36-inch cylinder holds more air than a 30-inch one of the same length, and the pressure inside acts on a larger surface. The Quest36 handles that with four elements: the shell, the windows, the dual control stations, and how it responds to a power outage.

βš™
Three Steel Sections, One Aluminum Ring
The body is built from three welded stainless steel sections of different thicknesses, reinforced on the outside by an aluminum ring. OxyRevo says this construction resists pressure without deforming over time. Their welding and splicing process joins the metal to the polycarbonate at each window end. The 2.0 ATA version is built from thicker material than the 1.5 and 1.6 ATA builds.
573 lbs / 260 kg
🧭
Bayer Polycarbonate, Head And Foot
Both the head-end and foot-end windows are double-layered, aviation-grade Bayer polycarbonate. OxyRevo says the double layer extends service life and widens the field of view, which they tie to a less closed-in feeling. In a 36-inch barrel, the head-end window is your view for the entire session.
Double-Layered
πŸ“±
Dual Control Stations, One Phone Line
A control panel and digital display sit inside the chamber, with a matching set outside. Precision sensors send internal temperature, humidity and oxygen purity readings to both screens. A phone communication system links the user inside with the person outside, so no one has to raise their voice through steel. Pressure gauges and deflate valves are mounted on both sides of the shell.
Inside & Outside
πŸ”’
Power Loss And Door Sensor Safeguards
When mains power cuts out, the chamber releases pressure gradually on its own, and the door lowers once the pressure is gone. OxyRevo designed it this way with a sleeping user in mind. A smart door sensor prevents operation until the door is fully shut, indicator lights inside and outside confirm it, and the emergency valve releases pressure in 30 seconds.

Inside The Quest36

A Closer Look

OxyRevo Quest36 chamber in a darkened room with amber interior lighting glowing through the circular door
The Six Inches

36 Inches Across Is The Whole Idea

Holding one position for ninety minutes is a long stretch. In a 30-inch cylinder, a large adult lies flat with arms tucked in and mostly stays put. At 36 inches there is enough girth to draw a knee up, roll onto a hip, or rest an arm out to the side. OxyRevo describes the Quest36 as having ample space for one adult and a child, and aims it at athletes, larger individuals, or two users. Length stays at 89 inches, so all of the added room is in the cross-section. An LED reading light is built in, and the amber interior glow in this photo comes from the chamber's own lighting.

  • Cabin 89 in / 220 cm long, 36 in / 90 cm interior diameter
  • Six inches wider in diameter than the Quest30, same length
  • Built-in LED reading light
  • Large entry door, transparent windows at the head and foot ends

Running It

Run Every Function From Inside The Cabin

From the internal control board you manage pressurization, oxygen supply, lighting, cooling and dehumidification, so one person can start and end a session with no one standing by the shell. Digital screens on both the inside and outside panels show live oxygen purity, internal temperature and humidity. The timer runs automatically from 0 to 120 minutes. The 10L concentrator is rated for 90 to 97 percent oxygen purity, and an oxygen mask is included.

  • Control panel and display screen on both the inside and outside
  • Automatic timing system, 0 to 120 minutes
  • Oxygen purity 90 to 97% from the 10L concentrator
  • Phone communication system linking inside and outside
  • Adjustable pressure switch and internal deflate valve

Pressure

Your Version Sets The Range, The Valve Sets Each Session

Two pressure builds are offered. The 1.5 ATA version adjusts down to 1.2, the 2.0 ATA version adjusts down to 1.4, and the model's published working pressures are 1.5, 1.6 and 2.0 ATA. OxyRevo calls its pressure valve exclusive to its chambers: you twist it to set pressure within your version's range, and they built it that way for gradual progression. Thicker material lets the 2.0 ATA build hold the higher figure. Analog gauges on the shell, inside and outside, read pressure independently of the digital screens.

  • 1.5 ATA version adjustable from 1.2, 2.0 ATA version adjustable from 1.4
  • Published working pressures 1.5 / 1.6 / 2.0 ATA
  • Chamber pressurized with filtered air
  • Pressure relief valves plus internal and external gauges
  • Emergency valve releases pressure in 30 seconds

It Stays In View Every Day

Once a 573 lb, 89-inch steel cylinder is in the room, it becomes furniture, and you see it every day whether or not you are inside. Both colors appear on this page: white above, black in this frame. OxyRevo's published chamber color is white with OEM available, and black or white can be chosen at checkout. Clinics and studios that want the shell to fit a color scheme can ask about OEM color before production begins, and given the build time, it pays to ask early.

The OxyRevo Hard Chamber Range

Four Steel Chambers, Lying Or Seated

Every one of the four is stainless steel with Bayer polycarbonate windows, runs on filtered air with a 10L concentrator, and carries the same warranty and a typical 6 to 8 week lead time. The difference is whether you lie down or sit up, and how much space you have once inside. The Quest36 is the wide lying model.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Interior diameter and weight. Each is 89 inches / 220 cm long, each has a stainless steel shell, each publishes working pressures of 1.5 / 1.6 / 2.0 ATA, and they share the same all-in-one operating unit and included equipment. The Quest30 measures 30 inches in diameter and 507 lbs / 230 kg. The Quest36 measures 36 inches in diameter and 573 lbs / 260 kg. Six inches of girth for 66 lbs of steel. Before choosing, consider how broad the user's shoulders are and whether they want space to shift position during a 90-minute session.
We will lay out the specs and let you do the comparing yourself. The Quest36 publishes a welded stainless steel shell in three thicknesses with an external aluminum ring, double-layered Bayer polycarbonate windows at both ends, inside and outside control panels with digital screens, a phone communication system, a smart door sensor, automatic depressurization on power failure, a 30-second emergency valve, and CE machinery (non-medical) and ISO13485.
The operating unit runs on 110V or 220V, drawing 1,400 to 1,700W, and moves 85 liters of air per minute through a dual air filter and two cooling machines. It measures 80 Γ— 40 Γ— 90 cm and weighs 80 to 90 kg, and ships with its power cable. With draw in the 1.4 to 1.7 kW range and sessions running 60 to 90 minutes at a time, Athlete Restore recommends having a licensed electrician check the circuit before installation. They can confirm whether your intended outlet sits on a circuit that handles the load continuously, and whether a dedicated line makes sense for the room. If your electrician wants to review the manual, ask us for it before delivery.
The chamber measures 89 in / 220 cm long and 36 in / 90 cm in diameter, weighs 573 lbs / 260 kg, and rolls on wheels for positioning once it is indoors. Leave open floor at the door end for getting in and out, plus room alongside for the 80 Γ— 40 Γ— 90 cm operating unit. The real planning happens before you order: measure doorways, hallway corners and any stairs. White glove delivery is built for exactly this, and for a crated steel chamber this heavy it is worth it. Contact us to arrange it.
Two builds are available at checkout: 1.5 ATA, adjustable from 1.2 to 1.5, and 2.0 ATA, adjustable from 1.4 to 2.0. The model's published working pressures are 1.5, 1.6 and 2.0 ATA. Thicker material lets the 2.0 ATA build hold the higher pressure, and it is priced higher. Both are set with the pressure valve, which OxyRevo calls exclusive to their chambers, and it adjusts anywhere within your version's range. The right pressure for you is a question for your physician, and the version cannot be changed once the chamber is built, so settle it before ordering.
According to OxyRevo, the Quest36 offers ample space for one adult and a child, and they list two users as a use case. That is OxyRevo's statement about the interior, and we are relaying it as theirs. In practice, at 36 inches across and 89 inches long, it is a single-occupant chamber with extra room for most adults, and the operating unit supplies one oxygen mask. If you plan on two occupants, contact us first so we can get the factory's position in writing, and discuss supervision with your physician.
Black or White at checkout. OxyRevo's published chamber color is white with OEM available, so a clinic or studio can ask about a custom shell color. A photo of the black version appears on this page. Color does not change the specs, the pressure range or the price.
You do not need a technician to run it. OxyRevo designs these chambers for owners to operate from either the internal or external control board, and the internal board handles pressurization, oxygen supply, lighting, cooling and dehumidification. The one professional we do suggest bringing in is a licensed electrician, to confirm the circuit before installation. Whether hyperbaric sessions suit you is a different question, and one for your physician.
The all-in-one operating unit includes two cooling machines and a humidity water container, and cooling and dehumidification can be run from the internal control board. OxyRevo describes the system as one that removes humidity and cools the chamber interior, running on electricity with no ice water and no Freon. That description is OxyRevo's, and we are passing it along as such. A realistic expectation: in a room with working air conditioning the interior stays comfortable, but we would not schedule long summer sessions in an unconditioned garage. Live internal temperature and humidity readings are on the screens if you want to keep an eye on it.
Typically 6 to 8 weeks: about 4 weeks of production and testing, followed by about 4 weeks of ocean shipping. Vessel tracking is provided, and after US customs clearance you get a truck tracking number while the delivery team schedules the drop-off.
Standard Delivery means the crated chamber arrives at your location, and unloading, uncrating and moving it are up to you. White glove delivery is full service, covering unloading, setup and cleanup, and the team shows you how to operate the chamber. With 573 lbs of chamber plus an 80 to 90 kg operating unit, white glove is what we recommend for this order. Contact us to arrange it.
1-year commercial and 2-year home use warranty, along with free lifetime technical support. If a quality problem comes up during the warranty period and it can be fixed, OxyRevo sends replacement parts at no charge with step-by-step photo and video repair guidance. If it cannot be fixed, they ship a new machine at no cost.
OxyRevo hard chambers hold CE machinery (non-medical) and ISO13485. Be precise about what that means: the CE mark here applies to machinery, which is not the same as medical device approval, and neither certification speaks to clinical outcomes.
Yes. We recommend Hyperbaric Excellence for their personal and professional certification programs. If you arrange white glove delivery with us, the walkthrough on delivery day covers operating this exact unit.
Output. The 10L concentrator included with the chamber supplies up to 10 liters of oxygen per minute, while the 20L upgrade supplies up to 20. The 20L is for anyone who wants a higher, steadier flow at pressure. If you choose the 20L, pair it with the BIBS mask upgrade. The BIBS mask does physically work with the 10L, but breathing through it can feel short on flow. Purity is rated 90 to 97 percent either way.
OxyRevo hard chambers build an anion air purifier and a nano-water air sterilizer into the operating unit. According to OxyRevo, the anion generator captures 2.5 micron particles (PM2.5) and the nano-water sterilizer works on bacteria and odors, which is why they position it for clinics and busy wellness spaces. They say it reduces the need for frequent cleaning. The one item to clean by hand is the oxygen mask, with rubbing alcohol, and wipe down interior surfaces between users as you would with any shared equipment.
Because the oxygen concentrator makes oxygen continuously, there are no oxygen tanks to buy or refill. Compressor filters are the only parts that need routine replacement, every 6 to 12 months based on use. Spare filters and fuses come with the chamber, and emptying the humidity water container is part of normal use.
A typical mild hyperbaric session lasts 60 to 90 minutes, 4 to 5 times a week. A common approach is a block of 40 sessions followed by a week off before starting the next. The timing system covers 0 to 120 minutes automatically, and the LED reading light and head-end window are there for however you spend the time.
It differs from person to person and is a question for your physician. As a general starting point for wellness use, plan on an initial block of 20 sessions and then reassess. Athlete Restore makes no claims about outcomes from hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
A pressure change in the ears as the chamber pressurizes and depressurizes, much like a plane taking off or landing. Swallowing or yawning clears it, and ears commonly adjust within the first few sessions. That is why the pressure valve adjusts: you can start at the low end of your version's range, 1.2 or 1.4 ATA.
Anything loose-fitting and comfortable.
Speak with your physician before starting, especially if you have any ear, sinus or lung condition. For a child this matters even more: the decision belongs to their physician, and an adult should operate and supervise every session. We make no claims about hyperbaric oxygen therapy for children or for any condition. On the equipment side, the chamber is pressurized with filtered air, internal pressure is controlled by the pressure valve and relief valves, and the chamber can be depressurized and opened from inside and outside. The emergency valve releases pressure in 30 seconds, the door sensor prevents operation until the door is fully shut, a power outage triggers gradual automatic depressurization before the door lowers, and the phone communication system keeps the user inside connected to the person outside.
