Overview

Hard Shell Lying Hyperbaric Chamber

OxyRevo Quest30 1.5 to 2.0 ATA Hard Hyperbaric Chamber

OxyRevo's soft chambers all top out at 1.5 ATA. The Quest30 opens the stainless steel lineup, and the main reason to move up to it is the higher pressure ceiling. Depending on the version you order, working pressure is 1.5, 1.6 or 2.0 ATA, and the 2.0 ATA build relies on thicker steel and reinforced components to hold it. No TPU shell can reach that, whatever it costs.

The cabin is a horizontal cylinder 89 inches long and 30 inches in diameter, with a large transparent door at one end and another window at the other. You lie on the mattress inside. That 30-inch diameter is the other half of the argument for this model: it is the narrowest cabin among the hard chambers, and at 507 lbs it is the lightest hard chamber OxyRevo builds, about 66 lbs less than the Quest36 and under 40% of what the sitting Space60 weighs. When a hard chamber has to travel down a hallway, through a doorway and into a spare room, this one suits the most floor plans. Choose Black or White at checkout, with OEM colors available.

The Build

The Engineering Behind 2.0 ATA

Holding twice atmospheric pressure in a vessel with a person lying inside changes what that vessel needs to be. Four parts of the Quest30 are shaped by that figure: the shell, the windows, the unit that supplies it, and the response when power is lost.

πŸ”¨
Three Stainless Thicknesses, One Aluminum Ring
The body is built from three stainless steel sections of different thicknesses welded together, with an external aluminum ring reinforcing the outside. OxyRevo says the goal is resisting pressure without deforming through years of cycles. The 2.0 ATA version uses thicker steel and reinforced components compared with the 1.5 and 1.6 ATA builds. OxyRevo also calls the welding and splicing process that joins the metal to the polycarbonate its latest generation.

🧭
Windows At Both Ends Of A 30-Inch Cylinder
Transparent windows at the head and foot of the cabin are made of double-layered, aviation-grade Bayer polycarbonate. In a 30-inch cylinder, that glazing earns its place: you can look straight out of either end, and daylight carries along the full length. OxyRevo says the design is meant to widen the field of view and reduce the closed-in feeling.

Operating Unit Specs, Published Up Front
The all-in-one unit powering the chamber runs on 110V or 220V and draws 1,400 to 1,700 watts. It pushes 85 liters of air per minute through a dual air filter, houses two cooling machines and an oil-free compressor with a 10L oxygen concentrator, and measures 80 Γ— 40 Γ— 90 cm at 80 to 90 kg. Check those numbers before planning the room.

Power Loss, Door Sensor, 30-Second Valve
If power is lost, the power failure safety system lowers the pressure gradually and the door then lowers, so a user who has fallen asleep inside can get out. A smart door sensor keeps the chamber from running until the door is fully shut, and indicator lights inside and outside confirm it. The emergency valve releases pressure in 30 seconds, and the automatic timer runs from 0 to 120 minutes.

The Cabin

89 Inches Long, 30 Inches Wide, With A View Out Both Ends

That is the entire entry. The door forms the clear end of the cylinder, so the window you look through is also the opening you climb past. The mattress runs the full length of the cabin, with the second window at the far end. Because the cabin is a rigid tube, it trades differently from a soft chamber: no inflation step, no cover to zip, and the shell holds the same shape pressurized or not. Measure your access route before you order. At 30 inches in diameter this is the easiest hard chamber to fit through a standard interior doorway, but the crate is bigger than the chamber.

Matching Panels And Screens, Inside And Out

A control panel and digital screen are mounted outside the chamber, with a second set inside. The user and anyone in the room see the same live temperature, humidity and oxygen purity readings, drawn from high-precision sensors. From the inside panel, the user can manage pressurization, oxygen delivery, lighting and cooling with no one standing by. A noise-free phone communication system links inside and outside, so talking does not require raised voices or a handheld radio. The 10L concentrator is rated for 90 to 97% oxygen purity.

Choose Your Ceiling, Then Build Up To It

There are two versions. The 1.5 ATA build adjusts between 1.2 and 1.5 ATA. The 2.0 ATA build adjusts between 1.4 and 2.0 ATA and uses thicker steel and reinforced components. On both, an adjustable pressure switch sets the working level, and OxyRevo says the valve is designed that way for protocol flexibility and comfort, letting a new user begin low and move up as their ears adjust. Analog gauges sit on the shell next to the digital readouts, inside and out, with pressure relief and deflate valves on both sides. Choose your ceiling at checkout. The steel determines it, so it cannot be changed later.

What The Unit Beside The Chamber Does For 90 Minutes

The all-in-one operating unit is a single cabinet, 80 Γ— 40 Γ— 90 cm and 80 to 90 kg, containing the oil-free air compressor, the 10L oxygen concentrator, two cooling machines, an anion air purifier, an air sterilizer, the air filter and the humidity water container. It runs on 110V or 220V at 1,400 to 1,700 watts and moves 85 liters of air per minute through a dual filter. According to OxyRevo, the two cooling machines dehumidify and cool the interior using electricity alone, with no ice water or Freon to deal with. What we expect in practice: a room with working air conditioning keeps the interior comfortable. The anion generator captures 2.5 micron particles and the nano-water sterilizer targets bacteria and odors, which is what clinics and wellness centers tend to ask about. An LED reading light is built into the cabin.

The OxyRevo Hard Chamber Range

Four Stainless Chambers, Matched To Your Space

All four are stainless steel, all four reach 2.0 ATA in their top version, and all four share the same warranty and the same all-in-one operating unit. The differences are the room each one needs and whether you lie down or sit up. The Quest30 is the smallest, lightest way into the lineup.

Questions

Common Questions

Pressure comes first. OxyRevo's soft chambers max out at 1.4 or 1.5 ATA, while the Quest30 is rated at 1.5, 1.6 or 2.0 ATA, with thicker steel and reinforced components in the 2.0 ATA version to handle it. Beyond that, the differences are in the structure. This shell is stainless steel, while the soft chambers use High Strength TPU. The cabin is rigid, so there is nothing to inflate. You also get a large polycarbonate door, control panels and screens on both sides, a phone communication system, a smart door sensor and a power failure safety system. What you give up is portability. A soft chamber packs down; this one weighs 507 lbs and stays where you put it.
Only the diameter. Each is 89 inches long, each runs at 1.5 / 1.6 / 2.0 ATA, and each has the same windows, panels, safety systems and operating unit. The Quest30 measures 30 inches across at 507 lbs, and the Quest36 measures 36 inches across at 573 lbs. Those six inches matter if you have broad shoulders, like to turn onto your side, or prop up a laptop or book during a session. They also add 66 lbs to move and a wider crate to bring through the house. Choose the Quest30 when access or room size is the limiting factor, and the Quest36 when interior space is.
The chamber measures 89 in / 220 cm long and 30 in / 75 cm in diameter, the narrowest cabin in OxyRevo's hard lineup and the easiest here to get through a standard interior doorway. Plan the room around three things: the 89-inch length plus clearance at the door end for getting in, floor space next to it for the operating unit at 80 Γ— 40 Γ— 90 cm, and the delivery route into the house. The crate is bigger than the chamber itself and arrives by truck. Wheels at the base help you position it once it is inside, but at 507 lbs / 230 kg moving it should be a planned job with extra hands. Send us your access measurements before you order and we will check them with you.
The all-in-one operating unit runs on 110V or 220V and pulls 1,400 to 1,700 watts. At 110V, 1,700 watts comes to roughly 15.5 amps, more than a 15A circuit can carry and well over its 12A continuous limit. Plan for a dedicated 20A circuit, or a 220V supply, where the same load stays below 8 amps. The unit also pushes 85 liters of air per minute through a dual air filter and houses two cooling machines, with a footprint of 80 Γ— 40 Γ— 90 cm and a weight of 80 to 90 kg. Athlete Restore recommends having a licensed electrician check the circuit, the breaker and the outlet before you install the chamber. It is a modest expense next to a 507 lb chamber.
You choose between two at checkout. The 1.5 ATA version adjusts from 1.2 to 1.5 ATA, and the 2.0 ATA version adjusts from 1.4 to 2.0 ATA, using thicker steel and reinforced components to handle the added pressure. Across the range, the specification lists working pressure as 1.5 / 1.6 / 2.0 ATA. The key point: the steel sets the ceiling, so it cannot be upgraded later. If you might ever want 2.0 ATA, order it from the start. Whether a particular pressure is right for you is a question for your physician, and we do not give protocol recommendations.
OxyRevo's hard chambers meet CE machinery (non-medical) and ISO13485 standards. Read the first one carefully: it certifies the machinery only. Medical device approval is a separate process, and we do not present the CE mark as one. ISO13485 is a quality management system standard that applies to the manufacturer.
No technician needed. OxyRevo designs these for owner installation, and you can run the chamber from inside or outside with either control panel. The internal panel lets the user handle pressurization, oxygen delivery, lighting and cooling alone. Each side has a display screen and a pressure gauge, linked by the phone system. Two caveats, stated plainly: have a licensed electrician confirm the circuit before installation, and ask your physician whether hyperbaric sessions are right for you. That second question is a medical one, and it is not ours to answer.
The all-in-one unit comes with two cooling machines plus a humidity water container. OxyRevo describes that system as removing humidity and cooling the chamber interior for dry, clean air, and as electrically driven with no ice water and no Freon. Those are OxyRevo's words, and we are quoting them as such. Our own expectation is more conservative: a room with working air conditioning keeps the interior comfortable. We would not count on 90-minute sessions in an unconditioned room in August.
The difference is output capacity. The 10L concentrator included with the chamber supplies up to 10 liters of oxygen per minute at 90 to 97% purity. The 20L supplies up to 20 liters per minute, for when you want a higher, steadier flow. If you choose the 20L, we suggest adding the BIBS mask. A BIBS mask does work with the 10L, but the flow through it can feel thin during a session. The 20L concentrator and the BIBS mask are each sold separately; contact us for current availability and pricing.
The power failure safety system lowers the chamber pressure automatically and gradually, and once it is released the door lowers. OxyRevo says it is designed this way for a user who is asleep inside when the power goes out. In addition, the emergency valve releases pressure in about 30 seconds, and the chamber can be depressurized and opened from both inside and outside. The smart door sensor works in reverse: it stops the chamber from operating at all until the door is fully closed, with indicator lights inside and outside.
The operating unit includes an anion air purifier and an air sterilizer. The anion generator releases ions that capture 2.5 micron particles (PM2.5), and the nano-water sterilizer targets airborne bacteria and odors. OxyRevo says this cuts down on frequent manual cleaning, which is why the feature matters to clinics and wellness centers running sessions back to back. For the oxygen mask, wipe it with rubbing alcohol between users. If several people will share the chamber, ask us about a separate mask for each user.
Because the oxygen concentrator makes oxygen continuously, there are no oxygen tanks to buy or refill. Compressor filters are the only parts that need routine replacement, every 6 to 12 months based on use. Spare filters and fuses come with the chamber, and because the compressor is oil-free, there are no oil changes to schedule.
A typical mild hyperbaric session lasts 60 to 90 minutes, 4 to 5 times a week. A common approach is a block of 40 sessions followed by a week off before the next. The chamber's automatic timer covers 0 to 120 minutes. With the LED reading light and 89 inches of cabin, people read, listen to something or sleep.
It differs from person to person, and your physician is the right one to ask. As a general wellness starting point, plan on an initial block of 20 sessions and then reassess. Athlete Restore does not make claims about outcomes from hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
You may feel a pressure change in the ears while the chamber pressurizes and depressurizes, much like a plane's takeoff or descent. Swallowing or yawning clears it, and ears usually adapt within the first few sessions. That is exactly why you start at the low end of your version's range and step up: 1.2 ATA on the 1.5 build, 1.4 ATA on the 2.0 build.
Anything loose and comfortable.
Check with your physician before starting, especially if you have any ear, sinus or lung condition. We cannot tell you what hyperbaric sessions will or will not do for you, and we will not repeat claims we cannot stand behind. What we can explain is the equipment. The chamber is pressurized with filtered air, internal pressure is controlled by the pressure valve and the relief valves, and the chamber can be depressurized and opened from inside and outside. The emergency valve releases pressure in 30 seconds. Gauges and screens on both sides of the shell show the pressure, the windows are double-layered Bayer polycarbonate, the door sensor prevents operation until the door is shut, and the power failure system depressurizes and opens the chamber if power is lost.
Whether a child should use a hyperbaric chamber is for their physician to decide, and an adult should run and supervise every session. We do not make claims about hyperbaric oxygen therapy for children or for any condition. As for the equipment: the outside panel gives full control and can open the chamber, the windows at each end give a clear view into the cabin from the room, and the phone communication system keeps a conversation going throughout the session.
Yes. We recommend Hyperbaric Excellence, which offers both personal and professional certification programs, for anyone who will be operating the chamber. If you are buying for a clinic or wellness center, budget for training the staff who will run it alongside the equipment itself.
Typically 6 to 8 weeks. That is about 4 weeks for production and testing, then 4 weeks of ocean shipping. You get vessel tracking, and after US customs clearance you receive a truck tracking number while the delivery team schedules drop-off with you. Working to a fixed date? Contact us before you order and we will confirm the current lead time.
You get a 1-year commercial and 2-year home use warranty, along with lifetime technical support at no charge. If a quality issue comes up during the warranty period and it can be repaired, OxyRevo sends replacement parts free and walks you through the repair with photos and video. If it cannot be repaired, they send a new machine at no cost.
Standard Delivery drops the crated chamber at your location, and unloading, uncrating and moving it into place are up to you. White glove delivery for hard chambers is arranged through us, so contact us about it. Unloading, setup and cleanup are handled for you, and the team shows you how to run the chamber. With a 507 lb stainless chamber, crated heavier still, think hard before choosing standard delivery. It means lining up the equipment and the people to get a quarter-ton crate off a truck and down a hallway.
