Overview

Soft Lying Hyperbaric Chamber · 1.5 ATA

OxyRevo Apex36 1.5 ATA Portable Hyperbaric Chamber

The Apex36 is the flagship of OxyRevo's soft lying lineup. It runs at 1.5 ATA, the top working pressure OxyRevo offers in any soft chamber, and widens the barrel to a 36-inch diameter over a 90-inch length. Seven large, double-layered windows are placed across the top, the foot and both sides. Short of stepping up to a stainless hard shell, this is the largest, most fully equipped chamber OxyRevo sells.

That extra size adds weight. At 37 lbs, the Apex36 is OxyRevo's heaviest soft lying chamber, roughly 4 lbs heavier than both the 32-inch Apex and the 36-inch Elite. It is built from High Strength TPU with seams joined by high-frequency heat welding, and the cover is offered in Black, Blue, Grey or White, with OEM colors available. You pick the machines at checkout: the Pro all-in-one unit or the Standard set of three separate machines.

The Build

How A Soft Chamber Handles 1.5 ATA

Running a fabric chamber at higher pressure puts the demand on four parts: the valve that sets pressure, the windows, the seams, and the gauges you check once you are zipped in. Here is how the Apex36 addresses each of them.

🎚
Four Pressure Steps, 1.2 To 1.5 ATA
With one press, the pressure adjustment converter switches the chamber between 1.2, 1.3, 1.4 and 1.5 ATA. OxyRevo says the converter is there for ear comfort in early sessions, letting a new user begin a step or two under the maximum and build up. You get the full 1.5 ATA ceiling while keeping the lower settings available.
1.2 / 1.3 / 1.4 / 1.5 ATA
🪟
Seven Windows, Each Double-Layered
Each side has two windows along its length, and additional windows sit in the top and the foot, for seven in total. All of them are double-layered. That is two more than either Elite chamber has, and across a 36-inch barrel it brings daylight into the interior from four surfaces.
7 Windows, Double Layered
🔩
TPU Shell With Heat-Welded Seams
The shell is made of High Strength TPU, and its seams are joined with high-frequency heat welding. OxyRevo says this approach is about durability without toxic glue or stitching: they link glued joints to a pungent smell and sewn seams to a higher risk of failure over time. Valve labels are marked by UV laser, so there is no glued paper sticker to come loose.

📊
Gauges Inside And Outside The Shell
Aviation-grade pressure gauges are mounted both inside and outside, so the occupant and anyone beside the chamber see the same reading. The pressure relief valves operate automatically, and OxyRevo spreads airflow across them, which it credits for a quieter release. The chamber's rated sound level is ≤50 dB.

Inside The Apex36

A Closer Look At The Flagship

36-Inch Diameter

Four More Inches Wide, Four More Pounds Heavier

The Apex36 shares the 90-inch length used across the soft lying range but widens the barrel from 32 to 36 inches. OxyRevo says that makes it roomy enough for one adult and one child. The trade-off is weight: 37 lbs versus 33 lbs for the Apex32, which matters if you plan to pack the chamber down and move it between rooms.

  • 90 in / 230 cm long, 36 in / 90 cm diameter
  • 37 lbs / 17 kg, OxyRevo's heaviest soft lying chamber
  • 1.5 ATA working pressure, adjustable in steps down to 1.2 ATA
  • Black, Blue, Grey or White cover, with OEM colors available

Seven Windows, Plus A Gauge And Zipper Within Reach

A 60 to 90 minute session is a long stretch inside a chamber, and the Apex36 is designed with that in mind. Windows on four surfaces bring in daylight from several angles, and OxyRevo says the extra glazing is there for a wide, clear view and more light inside. A high-accuracy pressure gauge sits inside as well as outside, and a second zipper on the interior lets the occupant open the chamber on their own.

  • Seven large, double-layered windows across the top, foot and sides
  • Aviation-grade pressure gauges on the inside and outside of the shell
  • Pressure release valves inside and outside

Pro Or Standard

One Cabinet Or Three Separate Machines

The chamber does not change between versions. The difference is the equipment that pressurizes it and supplies oxygen. The Pro version comes as one All-in-One Machine Unit, 27.56" × 13.78" × 29.53" and 80 kg, and a single press starts every function. The Standard version divides those jobs among three units, each set up and switched on separately, and it costs less and is lighter to move. Both use a 10L oxygen concentrator, so there are no oxygen tanks.

  • Pro: 1 air compressor, 10L oxygen concentrator, 2 cooling machines, anion generator, timing alarm, oxygen meter, water container and air filters, all in one cabinet
  • Pro: double activated carbon filters and Nano Water Ion technology with an anti-virus system, rated by OxyRevo at a 99% virus sterilization rate
  • Standard: AE01 air compressor, ZLA01 air cooler and HG10 oxygen concentrator, with double filters on input and output
  • Both include an oxygen mask, spare filters, fuses, air and oxygen tubing, and a power cable

Valves & Exits

Every Exit Works From Inside And Out

Filtered air pressurizes the Apex36. The pressure valve holds internal pressure while the relief valves regulate it, and the chamber can be depressurized and opened from either inside or outside. Emergency valves provide a fast exit, which OxyRevo puts at 30 seconds. Valve markings are etched by UV laser, so the labels stay legible for the life of the chamber.

  • Emergency valves, rated by OxyRevo for a 30-second exit
  • Pressure release valves on the inside and outside
  • High-precision pressure gauges on both sides of the shell
  • Valve labels applied by UV laser, no glued paper stickers

The OxyRevo Soft Lying Range

Four Chambers, Two Pressures, Two Widths

Every soft lying chamber in the range is 90 inches long, made of High Strength TPU, rated at ≤50 dB, and offered with a Pro or Standard machine set. The lineup is straightforward: Elite runs at 1.4 ATA with 5 windows, Apex runs at 1.5 ATA with 7, and each pressure comes in a 32-inch or 36-inch diameter. The Apex36 is the one that combines the higher pressure, the wider barrel and the extra windows.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

The difference is diameter and weight. Both run at 1.5 ATA, both measure 90 inches long, and both have 7 large double-layered windows. The Apex36 widens the barrel to 36 inches / 90 cm compared with 32 inches / 80 cm on the Apex32, and it weighs 37 lbs compared with 33 lbs. Decide based on how much shoulder room you want and how often you plan to move the chamber.
Both are 90 inches long and 36 inches in diameter. The Apex36 runs at a higher working pressure of 1.5 ATA versus 1.4 ATA on the Elite36, and it has 7 windows against 5. It weighs 37 lbs to the Elite36's 33 lbs. If pressure and window count are your deciding factors, the Apex36 is the step up from the Elite36 in the same footprint.
Yes. A pressure adjustment converter switches the chamber between 1.2, 1.3, 1.4 or 1.5 ATA in a single press. OxyRevo says it is included to ease ear pressure discomfort in early sessions, so you can start lower and move up as you get comfortable.
When inflated, the chamber takes up 90 inches long by 36 inches wide (230 × 90 cm). Leave floor space next to it for the machines. The Pro all-in-one unit measures 27.56" L × 13.78" W × 29.53" H; the Standard version needs space for three separate units. Check your doorway and the path into the room before ordering.
The chamber alone weighs 37 lbs / 17 kg, making it the heaviest of OxyRevo's soft lying chambers. Most of the setup's weight is in the machines: the Pro all-in-one unit weighs 80 kg, while the Standard version spreads the same functions across three lighter units that are easier to move.
You do not need a technician to install it. OxyRevo designs these chambers for owner setup, and the chamber can be run from inside or outside the unit. Apart from setup, speak with your physician before beginning hyperbaric sessions, especially if you have any ear, sinus or lung condition.
Yes. The chamber has zippers on the inside and the outside, so the person using it can close and open it with nobody standing by. Pressure gauges and pressure release valves are also duplicated inside, and the chamber can be depressurized from within. The curved zipper uses a gravity sink to keep the zippers apart from the sealing strips, which OxyRevo credits with less friction getting in and out.
Four: Black, Blue, Grey and White. Grey is the standard cover color, and OEM colors are available on request. Choose your color at checkout; it does not affect any chamber specification.
The Pro version is a single All-in-One Machine Unit, 27.56" × 13.78" × 29.53" and 80 kg, housing an air compressor, a 10L oxygen concentrator, two cooling machines, an anion generator, a timing alarm, an oxygen meter, a water container and air filters. One press starts every function, it uses double activated carbon filters, and it adds Nano Water Ion technology with an anti-virus system that OxyRevo rates at a 99% virus sterilization rate. The Standard version is three separate machines, the AE01 air compressor, ZLA01 air cooler and HG10 oxygen concentrator, each set up and run on its own, with double filters on input and output. Standard is the lower-cost option and lighter to move.
No tanks are needed. The oxygen concentrator makes oxygen continuously, so there are no oxygen tanks to buy or refill. The only parts that need routine replacement are the compressor filters, every 6 to 12 months depending on how much you use it. Spare filters and fuses come with the chamber, together with the oxygen mask, air and oxygen tubing, and power cable.
Cooling comes with whichever machine set you pick. The Pro unit includes two cooling machines and a water container, and the Standard version includes the ZLA01 air cooler. OxyRevo says the system pulls humidity out of the chamber and cools the air, and it runs on electricity with no ice water and no Freon required. A realistic expectation: in a room with working air conditioning, the interior stays comfortable for the length of a session.
The chamber's rated sound level is ≤50 dB. OxyRevo's automatic pressure relief valves spread airflow across the valves, which it credits for quieter release. OxyRevo says it developed those valves for people trying to sleep inside the chamber while the valves vented outside it.
A typical mild hyperbaric session lasts 60 to 90 minutes, 4 to 5 times a week. A common approach is a block of 40 sessions, followed by a week off before the next block begins.
This differs from person to person and should be discussed with your physician. For general wellness use, a reasonable starting plan is an initial block of 20 sessions and reassess from there. Athlete Restore makes no claims about outcomes.
Expect a pressure change in the ears as the chamber pressurizes and depressurizes, much like a plane climbing or descending. Swallowing or yawning clears it, and ears commonly adjust after the first few sessions. Starting at 1.2 or 1.3 ATA on the pressure converter is one way to ease in.
Wear any loose-fitting, comfortable clothing.
Speak with your physician before you begin, especially with any ear, sinus or lung condition. On the equipment side, the chamber is pressurized with filtered air, the pressure valve and relief valves regulate internal pressure, and the chamber can be depressurized and opened from inside and outside. Emergency valves allow a fast exit, which OxyRevo puts at 30 seconds. All seven windows are double-layered, and high-precision pressure gauges are fitted inside and outside.
Athlete Restore makes no claims about hyperbaric oxygen therapy for children or for any condition. That decision belongs to a physician who knows the child. On the equipment side, the 36-inch diameter is the widest in OxyRevo's soft lying range, and OxyRevo says the interior fits one adult and one child.
The CE machinery (non-medical) and ISO13485 certifications that OxyRevo publishes cover its hard shell chambers. We do not list them for the soft chamber range, which includes the Apex36. If your facility requires a certificate, contact us before ordering and we will get a clear answer from OxyRevo.
Typically about 3 weeks: around 1 week for production and 7 to 10 days of shipping by FedEx Air. You receive tracking once the order ships.
There are two ways to receive it. Standard Delivery brings the crated chamber to your door, and you take care of unloading, uncrating and moving it. For full service, add our separate White Glove Delivery & Chamber Education item: the team handles unloading, setup and cleanup, and walks you through operating the chamber.
1-year commercial and 2-year home use warranty, along with lifetime technical support at no cost. If a quality problem comes up during the warranty period and can be fixed, OxyRevo sends replacement parts free of charge with step-by-step repair guidance by photo and video. If it cannot be fixed, they ship a new machine at no cost.
