The TheraTouch EX4 puts four independent stim channels behind a bilingual color touchscreen. Run one protocol across all four, or give each channel its own waveform, settings and intensity so you can treat up to four patients at once.

Menus walk you through each setup, including suggested electrode placement. Eight preset clinical protocols get you started, and up to 99 of your own protocols can be saved for next time.

Waveforms

Which waveforms work the muscle?

NMS, Russian and RAAS are the muscle stimulation (EMS) waveforms. RAAS sequences agonist and antagonist muscles in a pattern modeled on normal firing and is aimed at muscle re-education. Interferential (4-pole), premodulated (2-pole), biphasic TENS, High Volt pulsed current and microcurrent round out the set.

Is this TENS, EMS or both?

Both. NMS, Russian and RAAS are muscle stimulation waveforms, while biphasic TENS, interferential, premodulated, High Volt and microcurrent are also on board. It is a prescription device for use by or on the order of a licensed practitioner.

Can I treat more than one patient at a time?

Yes. Each of the four channels can run its own protocol and intensity, so up to four patients can be treated at once.

What warranty does it have?

Richmar covers the TheraTouch device for three years from purchase. Lead wires, applicators and power cords are covered for one year, and the therapy cart carries a one-year warranty.
